Assistant General Manager required for lively and funky venue in Putney, South-West London

KSB Recruitment is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to work in a busy and stylish venue that has dining, drinking and dancing in the heart of South-West London. Offering a range of spaces over 3 floors including open plan interiors, private areas to book and a gorgeous roof terrace. The restaurant serves a range of favourites for lunch or dinner including burgers, salads and pizza.  Part of an expanding nationwide chain this is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career and be at the heart of the business!

The Role:

• Support the General Manager to help lead the team
• Managing the bar and restaurant teams
• Resolving any issues and adaption to any situation that may arise
• Stock control
• Payroll and labour costs
• Finance
• Recruiting, training and motivating your staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent staff management and leadership skills, plus excellent communication and social skills
• Willing to work well as part of a team
• Be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
• The capability to respond positively to pressure

Benefits:

• Salary £30,000 - £36,000
• 50% OTE Bonus
