Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Northamptonshire Hotel
KSB recruitment are working with our client to find an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager for a contemporary and Stylish 4* Hotel in Northamptonshire. Housekeeping is what gives guests that outstanding experience, so if you are energetic and approachable then we would love to hear from you.
The Role:
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager as required
- You will help lead the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure quality standards.
- Implement, effectively, all housekeeping policies and procedures including Health and Safety and security
- Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping Team Members with an emphasis on training and team work
- Ensure staffing levels cover business demands
- Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Support managing, training and developing the team
- Deputise in absence of the Housekeeping Manager
- Provide excellent guest service
- Assist other departments wherever necessary
Requirements:
- Motivational Leader who thrives under pressure
- An understanding of delivering a fantastic first and last impression to the guest experience
- To drive cleanliness standards across the hotel
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- To ensure that H&S compliance is followed
- Excellent customer service skills and is passionate about exceeding guest expectations
