KSB Recruitment are currently looking for Duty Managers to support with the day to day running of Hospitality Operations. This role will require full flexibility to work Monday to Sunday; weekends, evenings, late finishes and bank holidays in line with business needs.
Key competencies and duties include:
•“Hands on” senior role assisting the front of house bar and restaurant team in a customer facing capacity.
•To provide service briefings to team outlining special requests, daily sales specials, and team duties.
•To ensure all the service areas are ready for service to the expected standard at all times.
•To provide a safe & secure working environment for customers and team members.
•To install a positive approach towards upselling within the team.
•To ensure that all paperwork pertaining to hospitality is completed accurately and within accepted timescales.
•To have a complete understanding of till operations and cash handling procedures and supervise staff to ensure correct processes are followed.
•To ensure good stock control through effective management of all areas
•To help develop a team which is high performing and customer focused
•To assist with the training and induction of new starters in the team and maintaining on the job development of team members.
•To assist with monitoring time and attendance records, conducting return to work interviews, investigations, in line with company procedures, and raising any issues with Hospitality Operations Manager.
•Must be confident in dealing with customer complaints.
•Previous experience in a Supervisor/Duty Manager position
•Previous experience working in Hospitality/leisure environment in a customer facing role
•Strong interpersonal skills with experience leading a team
•Professional, positive, “can do” attitude
•Computer literature, comfortable using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
•Organised, good at sticking to deadlines and multi tasking.
