Events Manager Luxury Hotel Worcester
KSB Recruitment are looking for an experienced Events Manager to work in a high-end luxury hotel. The venue is a beautiful country house hotel that is very food & beverage driven and has unbeatable views for everyone to enjoy. This hotel hosts amazing events from weddings to parties and it even has a separate kitchen just for functions! This is a great opportunity and one not to be missed.
The role:
- Responsible for managing all incoming business in relation to weddings and events and to make certain that service excellence is delivered at times.
- Revenue generation specifically in terms of conference and events and to surpass agreed budget and exceed targets.
- To maximise all booking and ensure follow through from sales and event handover to end of booking/event, plus follow up.
- To plan, organise, direct and control the conference and events operation and administration.
- To actively generate and manage new events into the hotel
- To promote the hotel, manage and deliver all social media, and marketing, including wedding fayres etc
- To be responsible for the website, updates, photos and written content
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Able to work under pressure
- Very good organisation and planning skills
- Fantastic attention to details
- A flexible attitude to the demands of a hospitality business
