Food & Beverage Supervisor Hotel Harrogate

KSB Recruitment is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to work in a grand hotel with award-winning facilities. within the beautiful countryside of Harrogate.  Being such a large Hotel, this is the perfect chance to lead, motivate and be an active part of the Food and Beverage department. The Role:

• Working within various areas of the hotel including the restaurant, bar, conference and banqueting and room service
• Keeping the team up to date about departmental, hotel, and company activities through daily communications
• To lead and develop an energetic workforce,
• Prepare for and direct all food and beverage staff to deliver a high standard of service, in a professional and hygienic manner, and with health and safety of guests and staff considered at all times.
• Handle any complaints, responding accordingly or escalating as required

Requirements:

• Exemplary customer service skills and a true understanding of hospitality is essential
• To be able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and to enjoy it
• To be able to manage the team and resources available to ensure that the departments are equipped for service via cost controls, stock monitoring, and good rota management
  To be able to communicate to and motivate your team providing day to day leadership and direction
• The post requires a person with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
