Kitchen Manager required for lively and funky venue in Southampton

KSB Recruitment is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to work in a busy and stylish venue that has dining, drinking and dancing. Offering a range of spaces over several floors including a restaurant area, main bar, club room and a unique rooftop bar. The restaurant serves a range of favourites for lunch or dinner including burgers, salads and pizza.

The Role:

• Have the ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team
• Ensure all kitchen operations and activities are carried out to company policy standards
• Have overall responsibility for managing all aspects of the kitchen environment
• A solid understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and all legal compliance
• Working to financial targets
• Recruitment of junior chefs
• Making sure staff trained in line with company procedures
• Must be hands-on, passionate, and take great pride in food production.
• Opportunities around corporate, mid-week students and weekend brunch

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Excellent time management skills
• Have the confidence to take charge of the kitchen
• Willing to work well as part of a team
• Be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment

Benefits:

• Salary £28,500 - £30,000
• 50% OTE Bonus
