Sous Chef – Exciting Opportunity in Birmingham

About the Role:
- Full-time | 45 hours per week
- Diverse kitchen operations: Restaurant service & banqueting for up to 200 guests
- Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per year
- Bonus: Experience with woodfired pizza is a big plus – a local favourite
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Maintain exceptional standards in food preparation, presentation, and service
- Train, mentor, and develop the kitchen team
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute to menu planning and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative dishes
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in banqueting and à la carte service
