With an emphasis on quality and creativity, we strive to exceed expectations with each dish we serve. As a Chef, you will have the opportunity to work alongside their skilled culinary team, led by their experienced Head Chef. Our Client is seeking individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within their dynamic kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standard, utilizing the best local produce available to create exceptional culinary delights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food preparation: prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standard, following recipes and ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation and quality 
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions.
  • Training and Development: Continuously strive to improve culinary skills and knowledge by learning from the Head Chef and other senior staff members. Share expertise and mentor junior team members as needed.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process and before final plating, ensuring that each dish meets our standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with customers and addressing any feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced kitchen environment, efficiently managing multiple tasks and adjusting to changing priorities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a professional kitchen
  • Passion for food and hospitality
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from the Head Chef
  • Creativity and attention to detail
