Front Office Manager Luxury Hotel Worcester
KSB Recruitment are looking for an experienced Front Office Manager to work in a high-end luxury hotel. The venue is a beautiful country house hotel that is very food & beverage driven and has unbeatable views for everyone to enjoy. This hotel hosts amazing events from weddings to parties and it even has a separate kitchen just for functions! This is a great opportunity and one not to be missed.
The role:
- Responsible for administration of the reception desk
- Responsible for reception and office staff, housekeeping and maintenance
- Liaising with other departments where appropriate
- Maximising the occupancy of the hotel
- Working closely with the General Manager to strategize for the business
- Provide daily information to all other departments regarding business levels
- Liaise with external companies such as Tourist Information and other local hotels to maximise occupancy
- Training and development of staff
- To forecast future business and develop peak and trough solutions
- Negotiate rates within the corporate market and develop new business
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a busy hotel reception
- Able to work under pressure
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Very good organisation and planning skills
- Fantastic attention to details
- Good understanding of computer programs such as MS Office, POS and reservation systems
- A flexible attitude to the demands of a hospitality business
