Front Office Manager Luxury Hotel Worcester

 

KSB Recruitment are looking for an experienced Front Office Manager to work in a high-end luxury hotel. The venue is a beautiful country house hotel that is very food & beverage driven and has unbeatable views for everyone to enjoy. This hotel hosts amazing events from weddings to parties and it even has a separate kitchen just for functions! This is a great opportunity and one not to be missed.

 

The role:

 

  • Responsible for administration of the reception desk
  • Responsible for reception and office staff, housekeeping and maintenance
  • Liaising with other departments where appropriate
  • Maximising the occupancy of the hotel
  • Working closely with the General Manager to strategize for the business
  • Provide daily information to all other departments regarding business levels
  • Liaise with external companies such as Tourist Information and other local hotels to maximise occupancy
  • Training and development of staff
  • To forecast future business and develop peak and trough solutions
  • Negotiate rates within the corporate market and develop new business

 

Requirements:

 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a busy hotel reception
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Very good organisation and planning skills
  • Fantastic attention to details
  • Good understanding of computer programs such as MS Office, POS and reservation systems
  • A flexible attitude to the demands of a hospitality business
