Head Chef – Contract Catering
Location: Solihull
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, occasional flexibility required, 1 weekend a month at most

The Role

  • Lead and inspire a team of four, catering for daily covers ranging from 30 to 480.
  • Develop and deliver fresh, seasonal, and innovative menus that meet high standards and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgets, stock control, and ordering to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Support, train, and develop the team, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Food Health & Safety certification.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within contract catering.
  • A genuine passion for food and innovation, with strong leadership skills.
  • A confident, approachable, and team-focused individual who can build rapport and motivate the team effectively.
