KSB Recruitment are looking for an experienced Head Chef to work for an amazing company in the heart of Suffolk. This job role is more than just a Head Chef position as the kitchen is full with almost 100% fresh and home-grown produce which is cooked to perfection by a dedicated kitchen team. The job offers unbeatable benefits with a on-site caravan, Vespa motorbike and even a jacuzzi overlooking beautiful hill views just for you! This role is perfect for a Head Chef who knows how to utilise the fantastic vegetable gardens that are available just for them.
The Role:
- Work with fresh and locally sourced ingredients
- Work closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure all food production is to a high standard
- Communication with FOH team is at its very best all the time
- Check Food Stock levels are correct
- Able to modify dishes to meet customers dietary requirements
- Cooking high standard food for all guests
- Able to prepare a high volume of food
- Competent understanding of all regulations, food hygiene and company specifications
- Be able to keep the award winning standards at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Head Chef
- Excellent time management skills
- Willing to work well as part of a team
- Someone who will invest in the ethos of the fresh ingredients
- Be prepared to work in a fast paced environment
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work!
