Hotel Receptionist Central Solihull
KSB Recruitment are looking for an entry-level Receptionist to work in a large and busy hotel in central Solihull. The Role:
- Welcome and greet guests
- Answer and direct incoming calls
- Inform guests of hotel rates and services
- Make and confirm reservations for guests
- Ensure proper room allocation
- Register and check guests in
- Confirm relevant guest information
- Issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms
- Maintain clear and accurate records of guest room bookings
- Compute all guest billings, accurately post charges to guest rooms and house accounts
- Receive and transmit messages for guests
- Listen and respond to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone
- Provide accurate information about local attractions and services
Requirements:
- Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be 'hands-on' at all times
- Be able to work early and late shifts as well as weekends and bank holidays
- Have excellent personal presentation
- Be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail
- Great customer service skills
- Able to juggle the busy reception while delivering an excellent customer experience
