Hotel Receptionist Central Solihull

KSB Recruitment are looking for an entry level Receptionist work in a large and busy hotel in central Solihull. This is the perfect opportunity to start your career within the hospitality industry within the hotel sector and gain a wealth of experience. The Role:

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Answer and direct incoming calls
  • Inform guests of hotel rates and services
  • Make and confirm reservations for guests
  • Ensure proper room allocation
  • Register and check guests in
  • Confirm relevant guest information
  • Issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of guest room bookings
  • Compute all guest billings, accurately post charges to guest rooms and house accounts
  • Receive and transmit messages for guests
  • Listen and respond to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone
  • Provide accurate information about local attractions and services

Requirements:

  • Be self-driven, able to work within a team and be willing to be 'hands-on' at all times
  • Be able to work early and late shifts as well as weekends and bank holidays
  • Have excellent personal presentation
  • Be an excellent team player whilst having first class attention to detail
  • Great customer service skills
  • Able to juggle the busy reception while delivering an excellent customer experience
