Job Description: As a Sous Chef with our growing pub company, you will play a crucial role in our culinary adventure. We are seeking passionate individuals who blend a corporate mindset with experience in the independent sector, showcasing both a keen understanding of targets and results and an entrepreneurial spirit that drives sales and people engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and execute a creative and seasonal pub food menu.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Manage and train kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Uphold health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
- Strong culinary and leadership skills.
- Understanding of corporate targets and results.
- Experience in the independent sector with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
