Assistant F & B Manager - Oxfordshire

Location: Oxfordshire (Luxury Hotel & Resort) (Live-in Available)
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum DOE + benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (hospitality nature – flexibility required)

About Us

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading luxury hotel group with a stunning property set within acres of parkland. This flagship site features multiple restaurants, theatres, and leisure facilities, offering exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint. You’ll be joining a brand that values professionalism, high standards, and career progression.

What We Offer

  • Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 DOE + company benefits
  • Hours: 40 per week (flexibility required, hospitality nature)

  • Support: Work closely with a senior Food & Beverage Manager, with development opportunities to progress further

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of a high-volume dining venue, ensuring seamless service and brand consistency
  • Deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence, maintaining leadership and decision-making authority
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a professional front-of-house team
  • Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to deliver memorable dining experiences
  • Resolve guest issues promptly with empathy and professionalism
  • Manage labour, stock, and costs to achieve commercial goals
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or assistant management experience within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality venue (luxury or high-end desirable)
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire a team
  • Commercial awareness, including cost control and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest satisfaction
  • A proactive approach with commitment to continuous improvement
