Bar supervisor, traditional country gastro pub, 40 hours per week, £25k to £26k + tips, Flintshire

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Supervisor to help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling.
  • Providing friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
  • Training and supervising bar staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
  • Creating and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests, fostering a sense of community within the pub.
  • Assisting with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area.
  • Handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a pub or bar setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Sound knowledge of beverage service, including beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
