This is a great opportunity to use your catering experience in a different environment, with a focus on supervising kitchen activities, maintaining food hygiene standards and ensuring the smooth and safe running of the kitchen.
Please note: This role differs from a traditional chef position, as the main responsibility is supervising prisoners working in the kitchen rather than cooking throughout the day.
There may also be an opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidates.

- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen health and safety.
- Confidence in supervising others, giving clear instructions and maintaining professional boundaries.
- A responsible, professional approach with the ability to follow procedures.
- An Enhanced DBS check and willingness to undergo the required prison security vetting.
