General Manager – Golf Club
Location: Midlands | Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + Benefits
A well-established private members’ golf club is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests.
This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the club’s day-to-day management, working with a dedicated team to maintain high standards and enhance the overall member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the clubhouse, F&B services, and course facilities.
- Manage budgets and P&L to ensure financial sustainability.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of approximately 26 staff.
- Ensure the smooth execution of 60-90 club events per year (excluding weddings).
- Act as the main point of contact for members, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Implement initiatives to drive improvements and maintain the club’s reputation.
What We Are Looking For
- A keen golfer with a strong understanding of the game.
- A minimum of five years’ leadership experience in hospitality, F&B, events, or golf club management.
- A proactive and hands-on leader who can make decisions and drive progress.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and analyse P&L accounts.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to engage effectively with members and staff.
- Experience in staff recruitment, training, and development.
Package & Benefits
- Salary up to £60,000 DOE, plus performance-based bonus.

- 40-hour work week, five days out of seven, including weekends.
- Time back in winter months for any additional hours worked.
