Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Tronc & Bonus | Live-in Available
Our hotel is a stunning Gothic-style country house hotel set in the heart of Mid Wales, on the border with Shropshire. With 11 individually decorated en-suite bedrooms, many enjoying sweeping views across the surrounding hills, a busy dining offer of afternoon teas, light lunches and evening meals, and an expansive 12-month holiday home park with fishing, wildlife spotting, cycling and woodland walking trails, we offer guests a truly memorable countryside escape steeped in history.
We are now looking for an experienced and reliable General Manager to take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the hotel and estate.
The Role
- Full autonomy to run the hotel as your own
- Manage a busy shoot season alongside our core hospitality operation
- Oversee rooms, dining, and estate/park operations to consistently high standards
- Lead, motivate and develop the team
- Own budgets, standards, and guest experience

About You
- Reliable, hands-on, and trustworthy - someone we can hand the keys to
- Experience as a General Manager, OR a strong Deputy/Assistant Manager ready to step up
- Comfortable managing a varied operation - rooms, F&B, events, and estate/park activities
- A natural leader who can manage a small team through busy peaks, including shoot season
- Genuinely cares about guest experience and takes pride in the property
