General Manager

Location: Leicester City Centre
Salary: £42,000–£50,000 per annum + Performance Bonus
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Role

Lead a successful and well-established Italian restaurant in the heart of Leicester City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager to take the reins of a thriving business with an excellent reputation, a loyal customer base and a fantastic team already in place.

You'll have the autonomy to lead the restaurant as your own, driving commercial performance, delivering exceptional guest experiences and continuing to build on the venue's success.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

• Lead, motivate and develop an experienced front and back-of-house team.

• Drive sales, profitability and business growth through strategic planning and strong leadership.

• Deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain the restaurant's excellent reputation.

• Manage budgets, labour costs, stock control and profit margins.

• Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.

• Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure seamless service and consistently high food standards.

• Maintain compliance with licensing, health & safety and food safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a General Manager or senior hospitality manager within a quality restaurant or premium dining environment.

• Proven ability to drive sales, increase profitability and develop a successful hospitality business.

• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and financial performance.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills with a passion for developing teams.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for continued business growth.

• Strong understanding of the Leicester hospitality market and customer expectations.

• Passion for delivering exceptional food, service and memorable guest experiences.
