General Manager Designate Pub Restaurant Staffordshire

KSB Recruitment is seeking a motivated General Manager to work for a busy Pub Restaurant group based around the Staffordshire area. The venues offer a tasty food and drinks menu and a lively atmosphere all week! You will ideally have a balanced background of understanding the corporate world of targets and results while having experience in the independent world which means being entrepreneurial and creative with driving sales and people engagement while being hands-on in every part of the business.

The Role:

  • Great at motivating different teams, with different management styles
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager
  • Going with the flow with how things are done at each location while making a difference
  • Work closely with the Assistant Managers in this busy establishment
  • Be able to deliver exceptional service to all guest
  • Achieve consistently high standards
  • Ensure all customers are at the heart of everything you do
  • Be able to run service in a fast-paced environment
  • To continue to develop an effective, cohesive & competent team.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are met

Requirements:

  • Have a big personality – to go into various venues and jump right in
  • Based within the Staffordshire area
  • Must be able to drive and have a clean driving licence
  • Have flexibility in work and personal life
  • Passionate about food and drink
  • Have a professional manner and attitude
  • Good understanding of stock and P&L management
  • Great at building teams and structure
  • Able to lead a team with great leadership skills
