Key Responsibilities:

Lead the kitchen team in delivering high-quality, consistent dishes across all services

Design, develop, and implement seasonal menus using fresh, local produce

Maintain rigorous standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen awareness

Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships to minimise waste and maintain cost efficiency

Train, supervise, and motivate junior kitchen staff to uphold the inn’s culinary standards

Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless kitchen-to-table service
Requirements:

Proven experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role

Passion for fresh, locally sourced food and creative menu development

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team

Sound knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and kitchen operations (Food Safety Level 3 preferred)

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
