Head Chef – Busy Destination Pub with Live-In Accommodation

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Head Chef to join a well-established village pub in the Lincolnshire area that is currently undergoing significant investment and transformation.

The Role
As Head Chef, you will lead the kitchen operation, creating quality homemade dishes using fresh ingredients while helping to shape the future direction of the food offering.
The business currently serves approx. 60-80 covers inside and an additional 60 covers outside. Sundays are busy, with circa 80 covers (12-4pm)
The kitchen is open 12-8pm, so the shifts aren’t super late night, and no early mornings.
The menu focuses on traditional British favourites with a regional influence, complemented by seasonal specials and creative additions. You'll have the freedom to bring your own personality and flair to the food while maintaining consistency and quality.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
- Is passionate about fresh, homemade food and quality presentation.
- Has a good repertoire of dishes and the imagination to create exciting specials.
- Can thrive during busy service periods while remaining calm and organised.
- Leads by example and enjoys developing a positive team culture.
- Wants to be part of a growing business and contribute to its long-term success.
This role is not about fine dining or “flashy” cooking techniques. It's about producing honest, well-executed food that guests return for time and time again.
