Head Chef

Location: Stirling, Scotland
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Tronc
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (48 hours per week)

Role

Lead the kitchen at a stunning lakeside hotel and traditional Scottish restaurant in the Stirling area. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a well-established kitchen, create seasonal menus, and work with fresh, locally sourced Scottish produce in a beautiful setting.

You'll oversee a close-knit brigade, work closely with the management team, and play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen and inspire a team of 4–5 chefs.

• Develop seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.

• Manage stock, ordering, food costs and kitchen administration.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.

• Support, train and develop the kitchen team.

• Work alongside management to continually enhance the guest dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Experience working with fresh, seasonal produce.

• Good understanding of stock control, GP management and kitchen administration.

• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Passion for producing quality food and building a successful kitchen team.
