Are you a creative and experienced Head Chef looking for an opportunity to lead the culinary team in a brand new gastro pub in Brewood, Staffordshire? The venue is undergoing a complete refurbishment, and we are seeking a Head Chef to bring their passion and expertise to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
As the Head Chef at this exciting new gastro pub, you will play a key role in defining our culinary direction and ensuring the kitchen operates to the highest standards, in compliance with food and safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
Menu Development: Create and execute a diverse and exciting new menu that meets the tastes and preferences of our customers.
Culinary Excellence: Lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Food Safety: Maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Inventory and Cost Management: Efficiently manage kitchen resources, control costs, and ensure optimal stock levels.
Team Leadership: Build a strong and motivated kitchen team through effective training, management, and leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role.
Creative culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Up to £40,000 TO £45,000 per annum
