Head Chef Wanted! Brewood, Staffordshire, £40,000 to £45,000 Per Annum, New Opening

Must be able to drive and have own transport due to location of the pub

Are you a creative and experienced Head Chef looking for an opportunity to lead the culinary team in a brand new gastro pub in Brewood, Staffordshire? The venue is undergoing a complete refurbishment, and we are seeking a Head Chef to bring their passion and expertise to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our customers.

Responsibilities:

As the Head Chef at this exciting new gastro pub, you will play a key role in defining our culinary direction and ensuring the kitchen operates to the highest standards, in compliance with food and safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Menu Development: Create and execute a diverse and exciting new menu that meets the tastes and preferences of our customers.

  • Culinary Excellence: Lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes that meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Food Safety: Maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

  • Inventory and Cost Management: Efficiently manage kitchen resources, control costs, and ensure optimal stock levels.

  • Team Leadership: Build a strong and motivated kitchen team through effective training, management, and leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role.

  • Creative culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food.

  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
