Remuneration: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Contracted Hours: 45 hours per week
Live-In Accommodation: Provided for the first 3 months (free of charge)
Holiday: 28 days per annum
Shift Pattern: Typically 12 pm – 10/11 pm (weekends required)
Meals: Provided during shifts

We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager for a prestigious boutique hotel located in the South Cotswolds. This historic venue offers a unique opportunity to be part of a long-term growth project as the property continues its exciting transformation. The hotel features 34 luxury rooms, four townhouses, a popular restaurant, a cocktail bar, and stunning outdoor spaces.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and leading a team of over 20 staff across key departments. You will be a key figure in the ongoing development projects, including the expansion of the restaurant and the potential opening of a spa, giving you a chance to leave a lasting impact on the hotel’s future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 20+ staff across five departments (Bar, Restaurant, Reception, etc.)
• Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running
• Actively participate in recruitment, training, and development of staff members
• Take charge of budgeting and assist with financial planning
• Drive forward the hotel’s expansion projects, including improvements to the restaurant and garden areas

This role is perfect for an Assistant General Manager with at least five years of hotel management experience, particularly within F&B. Stability and a strong track record in managing teams and delivering outstanding guest service are essential for this position.
