Location: West Sussex (Near East Grinstead)
Salary (Before Probation): £32,533 per annum (Live In) | £34,033 per annum (Live Out, including £1,500 allowance) + Approx. £6,000 annual service charge
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (48 hours over 4 days)

Working alongside a talented brigade, you'll create beautifully crafted desserts, pastries and afternoon tea items using the finest seasonal ingredients, many harvested daily from the estate's restored Victorian kitchen garden. From elegant Michelin-starred dining to the hotel's renowned afternoon tea, every dish showcases the quality of the produce and the creativity of the pastry team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality desserts, pastries and baked goods.
- Assist in delivering the hotel's acclaimed afternoon tea service.
- Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from the estate's kitchen garden and trusted local suppliers.
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, consistency and quality.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Support the wider pastry and kitchen team to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a pastry kitchen or a professional kitchen with a passion for pastry.
- Enthusiasm for working with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work well within a professional team.
- Michelin or fine dining experience is beneficial but not essential.
Rewards
