Are you a talented Sous Chef with experience in fast-paced pizza or QSR kitchens? We’re recruiting for a Pizza Restaurant Sous Chef to help lead a brand-new, on-site pizzeria and bar within a world-renowned hospitality and events venue in Northamptonshire.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a freshly launched concept—serving karters, public guests, and delivering across the venue as part of a high-volume, scratch-cooked catering operation.
About the Venue:
Set within a busy, 52-week-a-year events environment, the venue serves everything from casual diners to corporate hospitality, conferences, and large-scale functions. The new pizzeria is part of an exciting development and will be operated in-house by a professional catering team of 45+ chefs and front-of-house staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality pizza and menu items in line with brand standards

Assist the Head Chef – Retail in the daily running of kitchen operations

Oversee prep, cooking, service, and QSR workflows

Manage stock rotation, procurement systems, and cost control
-
Ensure all HACCP and food safety documentation is up to date

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen environment

Liaise with logistics and FOH teams to ensure smooth service and delivery

Support training and leadership of kitchen staff

Assist with menu development and dish innovation
Requirements:

Proven experience in a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie role within a pizza or QSR environment

Excellent leadership and kitchen management skills

High culinary standards with an understanding of modern trends

Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)

Knowledge of HACCP, allergens, and health & safety practices

Strong communication and organisation skills

Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting

Full UK driving licence (essential)

General IT literacy for ordering and admin tasks
