An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our client's team at a bustling 100-cover restaurant in Diss. We are looking for an individual with a vibrant personality who can effortlessly front the restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fronting the restaurant operations and ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests.
- Managing rotas, including scheduling, staffing levels, and holidays.
- Conducting costing rotas to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Implementing and overseeing risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
- Leading recruitment efforts and conducting training for new staff members.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the restaurant.
- Handling customer feedback and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work day shifts only, with normal working hours from 8am to 4pm.
- Willingness to work overtime when required, with overtime pay provided.
- Ability to handle various administrative tasks including rotas, costing, and recruitment.
