We’re recruiting on behalf of a major hospitality venue in Northamptonshire, where you’ll help lead kitchen operations across a wide range of outlets—from race day hospitality and events to cafés and internal dining.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Head Chef – Retail in daily kitchen operations
-
Prepare and present high-quality food to company standards
-
Ensure full compliance with food safety and allergen procedures

Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in all kitchen areas

Manage kitchen operations in the absence of senior chefs

Collaborate with service and logistics teams to ensure timely food delivery across the site

Participate in planning meetings and event briefings
Team Leadership & Communication:

Assist in the training and development of junior staff

Ensure clear communication with front-of-house and service teams
-
Complete daily food safety and compliance records

Take a proactive, hands-on approach to service
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie in a high-volume or multi-outlet environment

Solid understanding of kitchen operations and event service demands

Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)

Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH regulations

Confident communicator with fluent written and spoken English

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Full UK driving license (essential)
