Are you a seasoned culinary professional seeking an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join our team at our premier sporting venue in Northamptonshire. As a Senior Sous Chef at our esteemed sporting venue, you will play a pivotal role in our culinary team, collaborating closely with the Head Chef to ensure the seamless execution of our kitchen's daily operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and coordinating the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu development, food preparation, and staffing.
  • Support the team and operations in the Head Chef’s absence.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure consistency and excellence in culinary execution
  • Maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold the venue's reputation for culinary excellence, ensuring all dishes meet our exacting standards.
  • Execute and present menu items with attention to detail, plating, and garnishing. Step in to lead during peak service hours to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu offerings that reflect seasonal ingredients and cater to the preferences of our diverse clientele.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and enforcing proper food handling and hygiene practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or other distinguished culinary establishment is highly desirable.
  • Guest Service: A strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience for our patrons.
  • Organization: Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently within a team environment as well as autonomously when required.
  • UK Driving License: A full clean UK driving license is essential for this role, as occasional travel or transportation of goods may be necessary.
