Are you a culinary expert with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences? We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to bring their expertise to our vibrant kitchen. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your skills, especially in events and functions, and contribute to the success of our outside catering endeavors.

Responsibilities:

  • Event and Function Excellence: Take the lead in planning and executing events and functions within the golf club. Your creativity and attention to detail will ensure a delightful culinary experience for our members and guests.

  • Outside Catering Preparation: Collaborate closely with our outside catering company to prepare and deliver high-quality catering services. Your culinary prowess will be crucial in maintaining the club's reputation for exceptional cuisine.

  • Menu Innovation: Work alongside the Head Chef to craft inventive menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences, adding a touch of flair to our culinary offerings.

  • Seasonal Adaptability: Embrace the ebb and flow of the seasons. During the bustling summer months, you'll be actively involved in outside catering three times a week. In the winter, this frequency adjusts to once or twice a month.

  • Flexible Availability: Primarily daytime shifts, but flexibility is key. Be prepared to work evenings, especially during the busy summer season, to meet the demands of our events and functions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
  • Strong background in events, functions, and outside catering.
  • A culinary artist with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
  • Leadership skills to guide and motivate the kitchen team.
  • Valid driving license and own vehicle.
  • Flexibility to adapt to seasonal variations in workload.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
