We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a brand-new gastro pub near Wolverhampton. Our venue is undergoing a complete refurbishment, and we are looking for a passionate and creative individual to lead our culinary team and deliver an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
Responsibilities:

Menu Development: Help create and execute a diverse and exciting new menu that meets the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Culinary Excellence: Lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver high-quality dishes that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Food Safety: Maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Inventory and Cost Management: Efficiently manage kitchen resources, control costs, and ensure optimal stock levels.

Team Leadership: Build a strong and motivated kitchen team through effective training, management, and leadership.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a gastro pub or upscale dining establishment.
- Creative flair with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of menu planning, costing, and inventory management.
- Flexibility to adapt to a new kitchen environment during the refurbishment process.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen
